We are proud to have a vibrant and active NCC unit in our college, which has been fostering the spirit of patriotism and discipline among the youth of our community for many years.
Our NCC unit was established with the aim of developing the qualities of leadership, selflessness, and courage among our students. The NCC also provides opportunities for physical fitness, adventure, and community service, all of which are essential for the overall development of young individuals.
At Michael Madhusudan Memorial College, we offer NCC training for both boys and girls. Our unit is affiliated with the 10 & 5 Bengal Battalion NCC, Durgapur Group, and we follow the guidelines and regulations laid down by the NCC Directorate of West Bengal and Sikkim.
Our NCC activities include a range of outdoor and indoor activities such as drill and parade, rifle shooting, map reading, trekking, rock climbing, and many more. We also organize various camps and training programs throughout the year, which provide opportunities for our cadets to learn new skills, interact with other cadets from different parts of the country, and contribute to society through various community service projects.
Our NCC unit has a team of dedicated and experienced officers and instructors who are committed to imparting quality training to our cadets. Our officers and instructors not only provide technical training but also act as mentors and guides, helping our cadets to develop their leadership and interpersonal skills.
Joining the NCC at Michael Madhusudan Memorial College is an excellent opportunity for young individuals to develop their physical, mental, and social abilities, and to contribute to society. We invite all interested students to join our NCC unit and be a part of our journey towards excellence.
