MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (for taking Admission)

BA/B.Sc./B.Com Must have passed Higher Secondary(10+2)or its equivalent Examination with at-least 45% Marks irrespective of the category of candidates. Must have passed
(I) Higher Secondary(10+2) or its equivalent Examination.
OR
(II) Higher Secondary(10+2) Vocational examination.OR
(III) Higher Secondary from recognized Open Board
BCA/BBA Must have passed
(I) Higher Secondary(10+2) or its equivalent Examination with at-least 45% Marks [for BCA course Mathematics/ Statistics /Business Mathematics/Computer Applications/IT/Electronics is to be one of the combination papers at 10+2 level.]
OR
(II) Higher Secondary(10+2) Vocational examination with 45% marks [for BCA course Mathematics/ Statistics /Business Mathematics/Computer Applications/IT/Electronics are to be one of the combination papers at 10+2 level.]
OR
(III) Higher Secondary(10+2) Open Board examination with 45% marks [for BCA course Mathematics/ Statistics /Business Mathematics/Computer Applications/IT/Electronics are to be one of the combination papers at 10+2 level.]
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (for Merit INDEX Calculation)
For the purpose of determining eligibility for admission in Honours Course,it is to be noted that total marks obtained by a candidate in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination has to be calculated by summing up the marks of 4 subjects,(excluding Environmental Studies,if compulsory) in which the candidate has secured highest,among which,exactly one must be a language subject.
If the subject “Environmental Science” is studied as an elective subject of 100 marks, it may be taken into account for the purpose of determining the aggregate marks.

HINDI (HONS.) Highest mark of any one language + Best 2 subject marks (excluding Environmental Studies, if compulsory) + Marks of the subject taken as Hons i.e. Hindi (it should be>=45).
SANSKRIT(HONS.) Highest mark of any one language + Best 2 subject marks (excluding Environmental Studies, if compulsory) + Marks of the subject taken as Hons i.e. Sanskrit (it should be>=45).
HISTORY(HONS.) Highest mark of any one language + Best 2 subject marks (excluding Environmental Studies, if compulsory) + Marks of the subject taken as Hons (it should be >=45). (In absence of History subject in 10+2 level, Highest mark from best 3 subjects will be treated as Hons.subject).
PHILOSOPHY(HONS.) Highest mark of any one language + Best 2 subject marks (excluding Environmental Studies, if compulsory) + Marks of the subject taken as Hons (it should be >=45). (In absence of Philosophy subject in 10+2 level,Highest mark from best 3 subjects will be treated as Hons.subject).
EDUCATION (HONS.) Highest mark of any one language + Best 2 subject marks (excluding Environmental Studies, if compulsory) + Marks of the subject taken as Hons (it should be >=45). (In absence of Education subject in 10+2 level,Highest mark from best 3 subjects will be treated as Hons. subject).
HINDUSTANI MUSIC (Vocal) (HONS.) Highest mark of any one language + Best 2 subject marks (excluding Environmental Studies, if compulsory) + Marks of the subject taken as Hons (it should be >=45). (In absence of Music subject in 10+2 level,Highest mark from best 3 subjects will be treated as Hons.subject).
PHYSICS (HONS.) NOT ELIGIBLE NOT ELIGIBLE Highest mark of any one language + Best 2 subject marks (excluding Environmental Studies, if compulsory) + Marks of the subject taken as Hons(it should be >=45) and Candidate should have the pass marks in Chemistry & Mathematics.
COMPUTERSCIENCE(HONS.) NOT ELIGIBLE NOT ELIGIBLE Highest mark of any one language + Best 2 subject marks (excluding Environmental Studies, if compulsory) + Marks of the subject (Computer Science / Computer Application / Mathematics/Statistics and it should be >=45) and Candidate should have the pass marks in Physics/ Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics.

Michael Madhusudan Memorial College welcomes students for three year B.A/B.Sc./B.Com.Degree courses and B.B.A., B.C.A. Professional courses. Students, who have passed Higher Secondary, ISC, CBSC, or its equivalent examinations, are eligible to apply. Admission procedure is conducted through online basis. The candidates may apply for Honours /Core and General/Program. Online selection is made on merit basis through online counselling.
